Required District and School ReportsAccountability Programs :

Districts and schools report annually on a variety of school improvement goals they have identified, actions taken and results achieved.  Below is a list of reports, their content and due dates.

The Annual Report on Curriculum, Instruction and Student Achievement is distributed to the public in print or on the district Website and contains information on improvement processes, opportunities for community involvement on the district’s advisory committee and data related to student achievement. The 2009 Legislature changed Minnesota Statutes section 120B.11 regarding School District Process and Annual Reporting. Because of these changes, districts are no longer required to submit a copy of this report to the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). The Staff Development Report is due to MDE October 15 each year with data from the previous school year. The Web-based reporting form collects information on the use of state staff development revenue for district and school staff development programs. The Community Education Annual Report, due November 1 to MDE, contains information about Community Education programs as reported by districts.

Calendar of MDE Workshops, Trainings and Meetings
MDE, in response to input from Website visitors, is pleased to announce the launch of an agencywide calendar. The calendar includes all MDE-sponsored training, meetings and events.
