How it works
It is simple! If your baby is a newborn or up to 12 months
old, just provide your email address* and your baby’s birth date in the form
below, and you will receive a free email newsletter from MDE’s MNParentsKnow.info.
Each month the email newsletter, The Baby Express, will come to your
email inbox in the form of a letter from "your baby" on the day of your child's
monthly birthday.
Each Baby Express letter will:
- Describe your baby's growth and learning, customized for your baby's stage of
development.
- Give you a few simple suggestions about what you can do as a parent to support
your baby's growing and learning.
- Give you a glimpse of what to expect next in your baby's development.
- Provide you with important research-based child development information from the University of Minnesota
in a fun, easy-to-understand style!

Please remember that every child is unique and grows and learns at her own pace. Information
provided in The Baby Express email newsletters serves as a general guideline of
growth and development for babies of the same age. If you have questions or
