Description:	This workshop will introduce the menu certification process necessary to receive the additional 6¢ per lunch meal additional reimbursement. MDE staff will assist participants during this hands-on training session to learn how to use the required Excel menu certification and simplified nutrient assessment worksheets. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to bring items necessary to complete menu certification for their district. These items include laptop computers (if desired), a one-week menu from October or November 2012, and the CN labels, recipes and nutrition labels for menu items that correspond to the selected October or November menu.
