NEW TOPIC! Teacher Leadership Skills that Strengthen Professional Practice: A Path to Adult Differentiation What are the best ways to facilitate and guide professional development that supports 21st-century learning and skills? How do teacher leaders create cultures of inquiry and collaboration that impact student learning? How does a facilitator use creative tension to draw out the talents, resources and creativity of each staff member? During this session, you will acquire new conceptual maps, increased confidence, and expanded strategies for supporting and strengthening adult learning. Join us to extend your skills in promoting a spirit of collective inquiry within groups and harnessing collaborative energies toward sustained improvement. Learning Facilitator: Jim Roussin has been committed to improving teaching and learning in schools across the U.S. and internationally in a broad array of educational arenas. His work has ranged from a language arts teacher; executive director of teaching, learning and school improvement; adjunct professor; educational consultant; and national trainer for leadership development, cognitive coaching, adaptive schools and Quality Leadership by Design (QLD). |
