Sunland Peanut Butter Recall Reimbursement

On September 12, 2013, the Food Distribution Program (FDP) completed and entered Recall Reimbursement entitlement reconciliation. Sponsors will be able view reimbursements on the profile screen of CLiCS 1.

School Year 2013-2014 Entitlement Reconciliation Process Completed

In the CLiCS 1 SY2014 Customer Profile screen, sponsors can view the reconciliation between estimated entitlement and actual entitlement. The “Entitlement Balance” includes entitlement returned to sponsors, commodity complaint reimbursement, entitlement transfers and recall reimbursement. Be advised that the entitlement balance amount may be reduced or in the negative due to actual meal claims declining. However, a negative balance will not be deducted from next year’s entitlement. It only indicates that there is no entitlement presently available to participate in Fall Preference Surveys. Please refer to the listserv message sent announcing the open Fall Preference Surveys for more details.

School Year 2013-2014 Fall Preference Surveys Open

The SY2014 Fall Commodity and Product Preference Surveys are open as of September 13 through the close of business October 14. All four channels of distribution are available: the Regular USDA Foods surveys offering limited items, the Minnesota Rebate Program survey, the Fee-For-Service survey and the Department of Defense Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (DoD Fresh) survey. A listserv message announcing the open Fall Preference Surveys was e-mailed to recipients of the Commodity and SNP listservs.
