Data Submission Template Coming Soon
The deadline for data submissions requiring all public schools to submit data from locally determined literacy assessments will be July 1, 2013. There have been changes made to the data submission template, so review the instructions carefully before completing the required fields. The January webinar will provide more information on changes to the template. Registration information is below.
Districts and charter schools are encouraged to submit their most current data (as of July 2013) for students enrolled in Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2. Just like last year, the data will be submitted to MDE using the Excel Template accessible through the Reading Well webpage or the MDE Data Submissions page after February 15, 2013. Please remember to download the template, and follow the directions to add the appropriate information before entering any data.
Local Literacy Plan Updates
Local Literacy Plans are to be posted on official district webpages. It is recommended that districts regularly update their plans to reflect current activities required in the plan. Tools for revising plans are available on the Reading Well webpage.
