Alternate Assessments - Technical Reports
An alternate assessment based on alternate achievement standards, the Minnesota Test of Academic Skills (MTAS), is provided for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities. The Research and Assessment division provides technical reports on the MTAS when available. These reports address topics such as the development of the test, the test’s various psychometric properties, and a summary of the performance of the Minnesota students who took the test. Researchers and District Assessment Coordinators are the typical audience for these reports.
